One of the best things about the SEC Tournament is reporters are allowed to interview players in the locker room, which isn’t the case during the regular season and routinely gives us some of the best glimpses into a team’s personality. Over the years, EJ Floreal and Marcus Lee developed a reputation for borrowing TV crew’s cameras and interviewing their teammates, and the results were always hilarious. With both EJ and Marcus gone on to new things in life, there’s a void, but not for long. Jonny David stepped in to lighten the locker room mood with his lint roller microphone, which he used to ask Derek Willis the hard-hitting questions:

Here’s the longer version in which you can see Jonny trying to make his move. After bullying my way through locker rooms for the last few years, I advised him to be aggressive, even if it means talking over Jerry Tipton.
It’s hard to tell from the video, but Tai Wynyard was also trying to “film” Jonny with his iPhone from the opposite side. Don’t worry; after I tweeted out the clip, Jonny vowed to get back to work after the game tomorrow afternoon.
