John Wall sets career playoff high in scoring, Wizards beat Hawks

Somewhere Colin Cowherd is throwing a temper tantrum, because his least favorite player in the NBA, our very own John Wall, just put on a show in game one of the Washington Wizards-Atlanta Hawks series. The first half was pretty solid for Wall, finishing the half with 13 points; however, the third quarter is when Wall really flexed his muscles and took over the game. He scored 15 points in the third stanza and electrifyied the Washington crowd with the constant blur he is when bringing the ball down the floor on a fast break.

Wall set a new career high for points in a playoff game, thanks in large part to his third quarter efforts. Take a look at these highlights for the third quarter.

And as fun as Wall is to watch on offense, his defense is no joke either. Someone inform Dennis Schroder that he needs to listen to the footsteps.

Not only did Wall have a good game, he also puts himself in a high class amongst all-time Wizards’ franchise players.

Just think if he wasn’t so underwhelming, right Colin Cowherd?
