John Calipari just got his 200th win at Kentucky

Special congratulations are in order for John Calipari, who just got his 200th win as Kentucky’s head coach. Calipari is the fifth coach in Kentucky basketball history to win 200 games and reached that milestone quicker than Adolph Rupp, Joe B. Hall, Tubby Smith, and Rick Pitino. Not too shabby.

Fun fact: Kentucky is the only school in the country to have five coaches with 200 wins. Because we’re the best.

UK is also the only team in the country to win a championship under those same 5 different coaches.

In fewer seasons, or within fewer total opportunities? I wasn’t clear on that

He didn’t earn it with his coaching. He learned NOTHING from the sh*t coaching job in the Wisconsin game last year, and almost coughed up another victory today by yet AGAIN shutting down the offense with 5 minutes to go. We will be lucky to ever win another title with Cal again unless we have a 15 point lead with 5 minutes to go because he shits down the offense. Completely.
