Jarred Vanderbilt’s foot looks just fine in this video

The status of Jarred Vanderbilt’s foot has kept Kentucky fans on pins and needles for months, but if this video is any indication, it looks just fine. Vanderbilt helped out with UK’s ongoing #HorseWithTheCats series this afternoon, squaring off vs. Josh Hopkins on the blue courts. Watch him showcase what he would do with the game on the line in the final seconds, courtesy of @KentuckyMBB:

A month ago, Calipari said Vanderbilt was “probably two weeks” from being able to fully participate in workouts, so it looks like he’s right on schedule. As for Hopkins, who is never one to back down from a challenge, he tried out his best Dirk Nowitzki impression on Kevin Knox:

He also faced off vs. Nick Richards. We’ll have to wait for the final cut from KyWildcatsTV to see how that matchup turned out.

Hate to be negative but this video doesn’t prove anything. He is limping around like a old man. I think it is pretty safe to say the dude has had a pretty severe injury to his knee (leg) recently.

I agree. He barely got the ball over the rim. Whether it is injury related or not, this video doesn’t prove that he is fine.
