Jarred Vanderbilt announcing decision at noon

Just when I thought the day couldn’t get any slower news wise, here came the basketball recruiting fairies to deliver this stunner: five-star small forward Jarred Vanderbilt will announce his decision on @ESPNU’s Twitter account today at noon. As in, 45 minutes from now.

Vanderbilt is down to Kentucky, North Carolina, Oregon, and TCU, and lately, Kentucky’s had all the momentum for the talented 6’8″ small forward from Texas. The Cats have 61% of the picks in his Crystal Ball, including the last three. He took an official visit to Kentucky on October 22nd; the only other official he’s taken is to North Carolina on October 14. It’s a shame Vanderbilt can’t join the team right now, because he might be the legit four the Cats desperately need.
