The Southeastern Conference released its men’s basketball players of the week this morning and Kentucky’s James Young received honors. Young was named SEC Freshman of the Week following his 26-point performance in UK’s win over UT-Arlington last week.

Tennessee’s Jordan McRae took Player of the Week honors, making it the second week in a row a Wildcat did not earn the spot as the conference’s top performer.

You’re slacking, Julius Randle.

UK only played one game this week therefore the SEC saw the opportunity to give it to someone without Kentucky across their chest.

Randle is focused on a National Championship
Forget the weekly lollipop, he wants the grand prize.
Build the team now that takes him there later.
