During his special guest appearance on Kentucky Sports Radio this morning, Jamal Murray confessed to almost shooting one of his arrows at John Calipari after a made three-ball. Calipari didn’t mind Murray’s bow-and-arrows throughout the year, but getting shot by one? That might’ve been a different story.

Murray told KSR, “I was going to shoot Coach Cal but I decided not to.”

But he did shoot Coach Cal, didn’t he?

Tough to tell. He might’ve missed over Cal’s left shoulder.

Murray also noted that other guards around the country began stealing his move. He said, “They were copying, but I think I did it the best and had the most meaning to it.”

A lot of other guards were doing the bow and arrow thing, but how many of them got a shout out from Green Arrow himself?
