It’s going to be T-Shirt Night in Nashville

Death, taxes, and teams giving away free stuff when they play Kentucky; those are the three certainties in life. Vandy is following suit, giving away t-shirts to the first 2,000 fans at Memorial Gym for tonight’s game vs. Kentucky:

The free t-shirts aren’t surprising. What is surprising, and honestly, a little sad, is that tonight’s game isn’t sold out. There are PLENTY of tickets still available on Ticketmaster for $65 each and way lower on secondary markets. I know the ‘Dores are 0-6 in the SEC, the loss to Tennessee sucked, and the game is late, but this game always sells out.

If you live in the Nashville area, even more reason to come out and turn that weird gym blue.

Wouldn’t it be cool if 2,000 UK fans showed up as soon as the doors opened and snatched up all those shirts?

It’s an 8PM game. Late? For whom? That’s a pretty lame excuse for a fan base.

Especially when 99.999% of their fans live in the Nashville area.

Actually it’s a 9pm game at Vandy. They’re EST not CST.

Skooms, Nashville is CST. It’s an 8 pm start in Nashville.

    • Tyler, I can’t go to the game, but what secondary markets should I look at if I ever have a chance to catch the Cats in Tuscaloosa or Auburn (and hopefully no one is asking $800+ like at least one seller was on Ticketmaster for the Auburn game)?

My bad guys and gal. Google actually pulled up Vanderbilt, MI when I typed in Vanderbilt time zone. Lol

Hope so, but I’m a little worried. They took UT to OT, and actually should have won. They will be mad and desperate for their first league win.

Tyler, it’s on the bucket list for Mrs RCF and I to attend a game at Vandy. Does your couch fold out? 😉
