“Willis lobs it to Lee for the slam!” is becoming a popular line these days, and the sophomores teamed up for two gorgeous lobs today during UK’s 9-0 run to start the second half. After the game, Kenny Payne said the budding chemistry between the two on the court is a welcome sight: “No question. They’ve been getting people on the alley-oops for awhile now. It’s been really good to see.”

Yes, it has. Keep it up, boys.

Getting a bit ahead of ourselves but, Willis will definitely be back next year and, barring a huge breakout season, Lee will too…

Let’s see – Willis, Lee, Ulis, Hawkins; not a bad nucleus!!

In pre-season, maybe…but I’d imagine WCS and T-Lyles will get most of those minutes in the regular season.

Kevin – don’t forget, Dakari was starting over WCS before Willie was hurt and you have to expect Lyles to be VERY raw compared to the rest of the team considering he has never played with them.

My guess is Dakari starts, WCS and Towns are primary subs depending on situation and Lyles is playing catch up – at least for the first half of the season
