Alabama is torching the nets at Rupp Arena.
Through 20 minutes of play, the Kentucky Wildcats trail the Crimson Tide by a score of 42-30, with the latter knocking down a ridiculous ten 3-pointers on 22 attempts. Four Alabama players have knocked down at least two shots from deep, with John Petty Jr. leading the way with three 3-pointers and 13 points overall.
For Kentucky, Dontaie Allen and Devin Askew lead the way with eight points apiece, with the former knocking down two 3-pointers on three attempts and the latter knocking down three pull-up jumpers. Allen also finished with five rebounds to close out the half.
Davion Mintz has added five points and four rebounds while Keion Brooks Jr. and Olivier Sarr have each scored four.
As a team, the Wildcats are shooting just 32.3% overall and 30% from three.
