HALFTIME: Kentucky leads VMI 48-34

It wasn’t the prettiest first half we’ve ever seen, but the Kentucky Wildcats managed to pull away toward the end to go up 48-34 at intermission.

Reid Travis led the way with 12 points on 3-4 shooting, followed by PJ Washington with a near double-double at 11 points and nine rebounds. All nine Wildcats have managed to put points on the board, with all but one (Immanuel Quickley) scoring a basket.

Travis left the game and went to the locker room with an eye injury, and his status is unknown going into the second half.

Here is the entire boxscore:

Go Cats.

Not exciting to watch UK BBall last couple of years…same Offense, same Defense…too predictable…! Not sure about this team. Great potential but, they are barely getting by…where is the FIRE and why aren’t we beating teams by 20 points a game like we used to…hmmmm
