In a back-and-forth effort, the Kentucky Wildcats came out on top to close out the first half against Auburn, leading the Tigers by a score of 35-34.
At the break, Immanuel Quickley and Tyrese Maxey lead the Wildcats with 12 points apiece, with both guards finishing with two rebounds and two assists.
Behind Quickley and Maxey? Freshman forward Keion Brooks Jr., who managed four points on 2-2 shooting in the first half to go with a rebound.
Johnny Juzang and Ashton Hagans have both added three points, while Nick Richards rounds out scorers with just one point in 18 minutes of action.
At the half, Kentucky is shooting just 39.1% overall, but have converted on 50% of three-point attempts. Auburn is shooting just 30.8% overall and 17% from three.
