HALF: Kentucky 38 Mississippi State 36

After back-to-back losses, everyone wanted to see Kentucky come out on fire tonight, but so far, that hasn’t happened. Kentucky leads Mississippi State by only two points at half, 38-36.

There have been good things. Kevin Knox seems to be breaking out of a shooting slump with 13 points, including three threes, and PJ Washington hit 5-6 free throws, but for the most part, the Cats can’t shake their bad habits. Kentucky got up by as many as seven in the first half, but sloppy passing, one-handed rebounds, and lackluster effort allowed Mississippi State to cut it to two going in to halftime.

Let’s hope for a better second half.

Among the most frustrating UK teams to watch in recent memory…….”fingernails on the blackboard” viewing, watch them between your fingers…..7 point lead, chance to stretch it to 9…..45 seconds later it’s tied……..AHHHHHHHHHHHHH !!!!!

From the facial expressions, body language, and mouthing when taken out…beginning to wonder how coachable this group is.
