The final basketball recruiting rankings for 2016 came out this weekend, and UK is once again at the top and not Duke, according to the Recruiting Services Consensus Index.
How’d they do it despite losing Marques Bolden to Duke? Well, according to The Lexington Herald-Leader’s Ben Roberts, having three recruits ranked in the top 10 of the 2016 class in Fox, Bam and Monk, plus Tai Wynyard’s play overseas leading New Zealand to the FIBA 3-on-3 semifinals helps out a lot.
This news is especially exciting since it’s coming just after the freshman arrived on campus this week.
