In yet another rowdy environment on the road, the Kentucky Wildcats found a way to come out victorious, defeating LSU by a final score of 79-76.
Going into the matchup as an underdog, the Wildcats managed to put together an impressive second-half offensive display to solidify the win.
Immanuel Quickley led Kentucky with 21 points on 7-12 shooting and 2-4 from three to go with four rebounds, six assists, and three steals in 37 minutes of action.
Tyrese Maxey added 14 points on 5-15 shooting and 1-4 from three, also finishing with four rebounds, three assists, and a block.
Right behind Maxey was Nick Richards with 13 points (5-8 shooting), six rebounds, and six blocks in 31 minutes.
Ashton Hagans – who left with a left leg contusion – and Nate Sestina rounded out double-digit scorers with 11 points apiece.
As a team, the Wildcats shot 74% from the field and 88% from three in the second half to finish the day shooting 47.5% overall and 50% from beyond the arc. As for the Tigers, they finished the day shooting 39.4% overall and 35% from three.

With the win, Kentucky moves to 21-5 on the year and 11-2 in conference play, giving the Cats a 1.5-game cushion in the SEC with just five regular season games to go.
