Bam Adebayo showed signs of greatness in Louisville, just ask Anas Mahmoud. Unfortunately, he didn’t get the ball enough to consistently dominate in the post. During Camp Cal, the team was forced to makes sure Bam got the ball.
“In practice we have segments where every possession Bam has to touch the ball,” Isaiah Briscoe said it worked. “He had a great game today.”
I think it’s safe to say Bam’s game was great. He scored a career-high 25 points; 16 of them came from eight dunks. They were all jaw-droppers, like this one:

The 59 points combined between Bam and Monk are the most a UK freshman duo has ever scored against an SEC opponent.
They were both great, but Andy Kennedy said Bam changed the game. “It’s a huge difference.”
For Bam, everything led up to tonight. He started feeling more comfortable on the court and started receiving more touches. It combined to create the prefect storm.
“It was just building up my confidence and trust in my teammates and I’m glad we could perform,” Adebayo said after the game.
Calipari described his play with his boldest statement yet: “Bam is getting better.”
