Jeff Goodman broke down college basketball’s best games of 2015-16.  Where I normally prefer to disagree with Goodman, he’s smart in putting the Cats in five times.

UK is the marquee matchup in the Top Two games, with three in the Top Five.  Here’s his “insider’s take” on all of the games that made his list.

1. Kentucky Wildcats vs. Duke Blue Devils (Champions Classic)
Nov. 17, 7:30 ET, ESPN

John Calipari and Mike Krzyzewski basically rule the college hoops universe these days. It’s a rematch of the 2012 Champions Classic, which Duke won 75-68.

2. Kentucky at Kansas Jayhawks
Jan. 30, ESPN

You won’t find a more hostile venue than Allen Fieldhouse. This one comes courtesy of the Big 12/SEC Challenge.

5. Louisville Cardinals at Kentucky
Dec. 26, Noon ET, CBS

This annual game between two heated rivals takes place at Rupp. Kentucky has won three of the past four in the series.

9. Kentucky at LSU Tigers
Jan. 5, 9 ET, ESPN

This could feature the No. 1 and No. 2 picks in next June’s NBA draft — LSU’s Ben Simmons and fellow freshman, Kentucky forward Skal Labissiere.

24. Kentucky at Vanderbilt Commodores
Feb. 27, 4 ET, CBS

The Cats will be the prohibitive pick to win the SEC, but Kevin Stallings and the Commodores should be selected second. They have a possible lottery pick in big man Damian Jones.
