Kentucky doesn’t know what its roster will look like next season, at all, but ESPN’s Joe Lunardi already has the mystery Cats as a No. 2 seed in next year’s tournament.
Lunardi released his way-too-early Bracketology on Wednesday and he projects the Cats as the No. 2 in the Midwest with a first-round game against Montana in Columbus. Kansas is the Midwest’s top seed, followed by UK and then 2018 runner-up Michigan and Virginia Tech to round out the region’s top four seeds.
Duke, Gonzaga and Villanova are the other No. 1 seeds. You can see the entire Bracketology here.
