Dominique Hawkins going back to visit the Far East

Dominique Hawkins has teamed up with Sports Reach USA for another cultural exchange basketball trip to the Far East. He and his fellow travelers left today and will return on May 27.

“I wanted to return to the Far East because I enjoyed the trip earlier in my career and I didn’t have any other plans,” Hawkins said. “I’m looking forward to the opportunity to learn about another culture and spend some more time on the basketball court.”

Hawkins was a member of the 2014 Reach USA team that spent two weeks in China, where he averaged 9.3 points, 4.6 rebounds and two assists in nine games. He also won a dunk contest on that trip.

Safe travels, Dom.

The kid is just a pleasure to see. He may not play big minutes next year, but he will be a leader on this team. Bank on it. Good luck in all you do Dom
