Dominique Hawkins, the Forbidden City, and his new hat

Beijing’s Forbidden City was the Chinese imperial palace from the Ming dynasty to the end of the Qing dynasty and now it serves as the perfect backdrop for Dominique Hawkins’ photo in his new bucket hat.

Hawkins is in Beijing with Sports Reach, a Christian sports ministry based out of Kentucky, for a tour of the “Far East.” Hawkins and nine other college basketball players will compete in eight games against local professional teams over the next two weeks.

Josh Harrellson, Jon Hood and Eloy Vargas also made similar summer mission trips with Sports Reach during their time at UK.
