We need to get behind Muhammadu Dialo now. He’s a CAT!

He is clearly a bright kid. Smarter than Matt, he limits his paragraphs to three sentences. Very readable.

Angelo – I think that three sentence limit might say more about your reading ability than Matt’s writing ability…

Nah, Angelo is correct. Believe it or not it is ok to have an opinion that contradicts with KSR and with you. You keep fighting the fight though Mathesheep.

Mathlete, just bc Matt was lucky enough to get this opportunity, doesn’t mean he’s a journalist. Kind of like people that use big words in the wrong situations.

Matt’s a pretty average writer (far from the best on the site, that’s part of why he pays other people to do it). I’m just saying if you can’t hold your attention on something you’re reading for more than three sentences, you’re probably not a strong reader.

Awesome news, He gets to work on his game and his shooting at the top program in the country and next year with improvement he’ll be a lottery pick. Takes the sting out of not getting Bamba for next years team.

Is this clown a Louisville fan? UK is by far the best place to develop your game for the NBA. Not yo mention play in front of the biggest crowds and best fans.

This is a quality young man.
If I had been offered a million dollars in the past (or future) I would consider it. I am sure he was in constant contact with Cal and UK.
Glad to have him back…this decision while it was probably gut wrenching for him, was the correct choice.
That’s what we need, young guys that see reality and deal with it, making the right choice. I hope he is the number one pick next year.
This team will do well with his leadership.
This scotch and beer is to you Mr. Diallo….

His statement breaks my heart. It’s clear he was affected by so many uk fans negativity through this process. I’m glad he will suit up for us next year but I do feel bad for the kid. It was a huge life decision and grumpy uk fans making statements about “how dare he take an unused scholarship and not play for us” obviously affected him. Never mind the fact that it would have gone unused!

I hope we as a fan base can learn to be a little more understanding with these huge life decisions these kids make. The decisions are far more important in their lives than for the fans but we obviously forget that.

He should not have to worry about paying UK back. Such a great kid.

    • TBW3011
      9:41 am May 25, 2017 Permalink

Moot point, but had he not come back he ABSOLUTELY should have paid UK back. You don’t get an athletic scholarship and willingly not play. That would not have been right. Glad he mentioned that in his statement.

I am excited to see him on the court. He obviously has talent and potential, it’s nice seeing a young man bet on himself and postpone his dream. He would have been drafted this year, but with another year to develop and armed with the information he received at the combine, he can propel himself into a better draft position next year if he chooses. I’m ready for the season to start!

Diallo staying at Ky because he can’t hit from outside. Right now, an athlete. If he develops as a basketball player, we can make a serious run and he’ll be in line to make some major money.

Great that he’s coming back but boy the expectations are going to be ridiculous for this kid. I can’t wait for the first ‘off’ game he has and the typical fair weather fan starts complaining about his coming back! You know it’s coming.
