Leading the Phoenix Suns to a perfect 8-0 record in the NBA’s Orlando bubble, Devin Booker earned All-Seeding First Team honors.
Coming in with 22 First Team votes, Booker joined the likes of Damian Lillard, Luka Doncic, James Harden and TJ Warren.
Outside the top five, Giannis Antetokounmpo, Kawhi Leonard, Kristaps Porzingis, Caris LeVert and Michael Porter Jr. made up the All-Seeding Second Team.
As for the Kia NBA Player of the Seeding Games (MVP), Lillard came in at No. 1 with 110 total points. Behind him at No. 2 overall? Devin Booker with 58 total points.
Here is the entire vote breakdown:
In eight games down in Orlando, Booker led the Suns by averaging 30.5 points, tied for fourth most in the league after the restart. The former Wildcat guard scored exactly 35 points in four of the eight seeding games as he became the Suns’ all-time leader in career 30-point games on Aug. 11.
On Aug. 4, he made his third career game-winning buzzer-beater to beat the Clippers and keep the Suns’ perfect record alive. During the seeding games, Booker increased his scoring average for the season to a new career high of 26.61 points, the second-highest single-season mark in Suns history.
While Phoenix’s perfect 8-0 record in the bubble still wasn’t enough to put them in the playoffs, we’ll always have this legendary moment from Booker:
