Friday night, Derek Willis became the first Kentucky Wildcat to compete in the Reese’s All-Star Game, an annual event showcasing the best college seniors the NCAA has to offer. Not only did Willis make the cut, but he was named his team’s “perfect player” after ending the night with 13 points and eight rebounds in 21 minutes.
During the first half, NBA Scounting Live tweeted Willis was showing his “versatile shooting skills,” including a three-point bucket and a breakaway dunk.
John Calipari was in attendance, and he tweeted out this sweet message about his “sons” before the game:
