Derek Willis is an April Fool’s Day Victim

Everybody loves Bullitt County’s best, Derek Willis.  After earning MVP honors in the Reese’s College All-Star Game, his final game as a collegiate athlete, he received a surprise from his fiancé, Keely Potts.

Bless his heart.

That’s a red flag when she so enjoys playing you like that, Derek. Rethink this!

Nah, just shows that she knows they can joke around like that. Not everything has to be so serious 😅

i would recommend in-depth marriage counseling for anyone getting married. hopefully, they are doing that. finances is one big area that can cause problems. There are spenders and savers, and a plan is needed up front. of course there are no guarantees.

my friend had separate accounts from his wife. he was a saver and she a spender. he paid all of the bills, paid off their house in 8 years, saved all of the college money for 2 kids, and pumped up the retirement account. his wife got to spend her income. they both make good money. then one day, she leaves him with a note of her demands in the divorce. so now he gets to hand over half of what he saved over 25 years, with a broken heart.

How would she have reacted to a “We’re too young. Need to date around…. April Fool’s”?

    Not well I would guess.

She will be seen as fun and playful in today’s ethos. Had he done the same, would have been crucified in social media.
