DeMarcus Cousins and the L.A. Clippers will run it back for another 10 days.
According to Shams Charania, Cousins and his new team agreed to another 10-day deal, his second with the other L.A. franchise since leaving Houston earlier this season. In Cousins’ first 10 days, the former Wildcat made three game appearances and his most recent one, a Tuesday night win in Detroit, was his best with eight points and three rebounds in 15 minutes.
Ironically, Cousins is the third option at center behind his old pal Patrick Patterson, a former teammate at Kentucky and in Sacramento.

If this second trial run goes well, the Clippers will have to sign Cousins to a longer term deal, at least through the remainder of the current season and the playoffs, where the Clippers are currently the third-ranked team in the West behind Utah and Phoenix, of all teams. Cousins’ old Lakers friends are in fifth and slipping.
Hopefully he will play his way into a spot in the next week and a half, and chase a ring in the postseason with Patterson and Rajon Rondo, the third former Cat on the Clippers.
Go Boogie.
