De’Aaron Fox in walking boot, status TBD

de-aaron-fox-12

Kentucky lost De’Aaron Fox to a right ankle injury in the first half and his absence was very noticeable on the offensive end.

After the game, John Calipari said the extent of the injury and Fox’s longterm status are still uncertain.

“He is in a boot but they said there is no swelling, so I don’t know,” were Cal’s exact words.

Say the injury is a significant one (and Lord please don’t let that be the case), don’t get too excited for a Hamidou Diallo sighting. Diallo has impressed in the handful of practices he has been a part of, Cal said, but, “he is not in the mix.”

Get better, De’Aaron — preferably before January 28.

    Get better soon, De’Aaron!

Meanwhile in Durham, Gayson Allen may be the biggest drama queen in the history of college basketball. Dookies down by 11 at the half. LMFAO!!!

You should probably worry about your Dookies… weren’t they the consensus #1 preseason?

He’s in a boot, but no swelling? Out for good? Season ender? I just don’t see it being that serious. But then again, I ain’t seen it

I wasn’t there but what I saw on TV when he rolled it, there wasn’t even a wince on his face. No sign of significant pain. I’ve rolled mine a few times and I don’t think I ever did without some kind of pain and agony showing on my face

So Bolden just did a chinup on the rim and no call. I guess that rule only applies to UK.

No way we beat KS or TN ( you know we’ll get shafted there regardless ) without the Fox. Sure hope he’s decent Tuesday night.
We don’t need to drop that KS game at home.

We don’t play Kansas State. I agree we need him for Kansas but I don’t see Tennessee being a big problem without him.

Hey dumbarss, KS is the abbreviation for KANSAS! Damn, enlighten yourself, seriously. I’m a season ticket holder, you don’t think I know we play KANSAS!!?

Hey dumbasrss, KS is the abbreviation for the state, not the University. Just goes to show there is no IQ test to get season tickets. The SCHOOL you are talking about is KU.
