Davion Mintz is officially a college graduate

Congratulations are in order for one of the latest additions to the BBN, Davion Mintz. The future Wildcat is officially a college graduate, as Creighton University held virtual commencement ceremonies throughout this weekend.

Mintz graduated with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration.

The school awarded more than 2,200 degrees during the virtual ceremony, and electronic diplomas will be emailed to all of the graduates. They’ll receive their actual diplomas later this summer, and the school is planning on honoring all of the graduates with an in-person ceremony in mid-September.

Mintz, a 6-foot-3 guard who played in 97 games with 79 starts for the Bluejays, officially signed with UK at the beginning of the spring signing period in April. He’s the Wildcats’ third grad transfer in just as many seasons, and he’s already adjusting to life in the BBN’s bright spotlight.

Just the love BBN has shown on social media, I know it’s real,” Mintz told KSR after his commitment. “I don’t think I can really describe the way I’m feeling.”

Now that he’s officially a college graduate, I’d say he’s feeling pretty good.

Congrats. Our path in life isn’t always a straight line. Sometimes a curve in the road is the quickest way to our overall success. Welcome to our family. You will find that you will be welcomed forever.
