Dakari Johnson is back in town

The current team is back on campus, but former players are making their way back to Lexington as well. John Calipari posted this picture of himself and Dakari Johnson on Twitter this morning with the caption, “He’s decided to come back … a year later. LOL. Couldn’t be more proud. This is what our guys do.”

Dakari and Willie Cauley-Stein held camps over the past few days in the area, and, if I had to guess, will participate in Calipari’s Father/Son Camps, which start this weekend. (Spots still available, for more information, click here.)

From the looks of it, Calipari and his suit might be headed to the Muhammad Ali Memorial Service first.

If you missed it earlier this week, this montage of Dakari laughing from our friends at KSTV is awesome:

Just think, he could be anticipating being a top 10 pick in the draft and MOST IMPORTANTLY, celebrating a National Championship……..

Agreed, King. Bet he wishes he had decided to return last year. I know I do!
