Something called a Justin Moore is a apparently a country music artist with over a million Twitter followers and he is spending his Saturday night whining to those followers about Malik Monk.

Moore, whose songs include no one cares what he sings, sent the following tweets about Monk and his beloved Razorbacks:

A KSR reader tells me Moore is coming to Corbin, Ky for a concert on January 19. If for some reason someone holds you at gun point and makes you go, please get a GO BIG BLUE chant during his show.

A google image search brings up a photo of Mr Moore wearing an FSU hat. So that’s interesting.

What a hypocrite. Wikipedia tells me that this tool left Arkansas after high school to move to Nashville. He more than anyone should understand having to get the hell out of Arkansas to reach your goals in favor of a place that makes stars since he himself did it. Also, Wikipedia tells me he died yday, so good job killing him offf BBN Twitter. Hope Corbin boycotts this loser.

And today he deleted the tweets and he just tweeted that it was smack talk in good fun and he loves the state of Ky. I guess he realized he had a concert comic up here lololol

A tasteless comment from a tasteless douchebag! Who really cares what your opinion is anyway? A whining reporter reporting about a whining singer…. real news there bud.

Come on people, this whole country needs to lighten the hell up. So a Hogs fan, who just happens to be a celebrity( I guess he is, I quit listening to new country when it became hip hop), said Monk should have stayed home. He did not trash Monk or even call him a name, and he didn’t even say anything negative about our beloved Cats. We as Cats fans are not known for our generous hospitality when a Kentucky kid returns to Rupp in another teams jersey, especially if it’s an SEC team. If you were a fan of this guy before yesterday and not today then you have some very serious problems.

Actually he was a total D-bag. If you didn’t read his tweets that way, reading comprehension is not in your wheelhouse.
Agree with you completely though regarding some UK fans in their treatment of ” renegade” Kentucky natives who choose other schools.

Arkansas is not a place to stay if one wishes to make it on a world stage…in any endeavor.

Perhaps if Hogs BBall had been in any way relevant in the past 18 years there might be a point to his argument.

Hadn’t really paid attention to him until this BBN backlash, but the original tweets aren’t as bad as the “I’m famous and you’re not” stuff he was defending himself with.

    1. He’s barely famous, if you live in the vicinity of his neighborhood that is, and
    2. artists typically make about 6.6% of album sales, so at around 1.5M sold across 4 albums he’s not really rich either. If you count his house, his cars, and what his wife makes part-time at Wal-Mart and whatever he’s made on tours, he MAY have a net worth of a million or so.

Hopefully he saved some of that money because his latest album doesn’t seem to be selling that well. 88k sales over four months doesn’t sound quite like he’s the next Kenny Chesney.

Who? Real country music died a very long time ago. Quite sad actually. I know there are a select few authentic artists out there…but they are certainly few and far between.

I hear the train a coming, it’s rolling round the bend, and on that train is Malik Monk to the promised land, He’s heading to Rupp Arena, to wear the Wildcat blue, and if your whning about it, your just a boy named Sue.

He also commented that he was more famous than any UK fan. Loved the conversation on The Matt Jones KSR show last night on the the way home from the game. As stated on the show, Ashley Judd is far more famous than him. Among others such as Drake, Jay-Z, LeBron James, Josh Hutcherson, Steve Zahn, Wale, George Clooney, Backstreet Boys, John Michael Montgomery, Kenny Perry, JB Holmes… did I mention our one and only Joe B. Hall? We could go on and on of famous people who are big UK fans and far more famous than some country music singer as Justin Moore. It was good talking with Matt last night about the game and hope to share again on occasion as time permits. GOBIGBLUE!! Musial Pearson, CalsCats3.0 (facebook page with 35000 members)

Ok, so I had to Google who this little guy was. I unfortunately listens to his “bait a hook” song. I’m embarrassed for him! Such a stupid song and clearly demonstrates that he is 100% a poser “country boy.” I’m a self professed hillbilly and I actually have sympathy stories how pathetic he and his shtick are.
