Coach Cal & the Cats Having Fun at Today’s Shootaround

Before the Cats take on Canisius, the team gathered for a light shootaround practice in the Joe Craft Center. According to the UK Men’s basketball Twitter account, Coach Calipari liked what he saw from his team this afternoon. They probably worked on a few things to improve on from Friday, but mostly just wanted to get loosened up.

Following practice, there was a little friendly half-court shooting contest. Unfortunately for Coach Cal, he was on the losing end. But hey, if that’s the “closest I’ve been in like…six years”, good job coach! There’s always room for improvement.
