Coach Cal plans to “stick ta sports”

John Calipari knows better than to speak up about his political beliefs and alliances, especially in this state.

Today, when asked if he discussed Donald Trump’s presidency with his team, Cal jokingly said, “There was an election?”

He then asked, “Who is Nick Saban?,” when informed of Saban saying he was unaware there was an election, earlier this week.

So would Cal prefer to stay away from politics?

“In this state, yes.”
