Coach Cal needs to continue coaching in a pullover

If there was one takeaway from last night’s huge win, it was that Coach Cal needs to continue coaching in a pullover.

Here are my reasons as to why he should ditch the suit:

A pullover travels light.

“You know what, I might. I might. It’d be nice to travel this light,” Calipari said after the game.

Cal will never have to iron.

Who likes ironing? No one.

The pullover will never show sweat marks.

No coach likes to show everyone how much they sweat during a game. Pullover = problem solved.

Cal will never have to worry that his shirt will get untucked.

When Cal gets ejected, he will never have to worry about this happening.

Cal will never have to pick out a tie.

I can’t imagine picking out a tie twice a week to match your suit is fun.

Cal can workout right after the game without changing.

Cal will never have to worry about bringing extra clothes to the game to work out after. He can go straight from the game to the treadmill without changing.

I hate the gray stripe suit Cal wears.

I really hate this suit. Sorry, Coach.

Pullovers are comfortable.

So light and breezy.

Cal has never lost a game when wearing a pullover.

Numbers don’t lie.

Did you see Cal’s little sideline move when Knox hit his last three. With that pullover on he reminded me of a bowler who threw a turkey in the 10th frame.

“THE PULLOVER” could very well become the new symbol for this team, replacing the “Quade Shades” from earlier in the season. When you see it, it time to get to work!

I like the idea of the pull over and the mojo that it brings…but cal is a suit kinda guy. I doubt he changes.

A lot of football coaches dress like homeless people – some of the best coaches, in fact. Others dress like they’re building a fire and watching the game in their basement with their school color sweater… but it’s been a nice tradition that our basketball coaches actually look like professionals. Makes them look like guys who have two commas in their salary. Guys who make that much should wear Zegnas and Brionis and look like the CEI of the program. One vote for going back to suits.. lose the tie, fine, but wear a suit. Makes u look like u know what your doing. Besides the Quade Shade thing goes to show some fashion statements are best enjoyed once.
