Kentucky had a road game in Knoxville, TN this afternoon, but that didn’t stop UK head coach John Calipari from catching his son’s game this evening.
Brad Calipari and his Detroit Mercy squad are currently playing at Northern Kentucky, and Coach Cal made it to BB&T Arena right in time for tip-off.
“Made it to Northern Kentucky for Brad’s game,” Calipari said on Twitter. “A great arena. Hope Brad shoots it!!!!”

In response to the UK head coach’s tweet, his daughter, Megan, shared the “real” picture Ellen Calipari took featuring Coach Cal having a bit of fun in the stands.
