Clemson coach wants his team to be more like Kentucky

The Tigers just completed its spring football game and while Kentucky and Clemson might not have a lot in common, OC Jeff Scott said he hopes his team can be more like the Wildcats, according to Tigernet.com.

Scott saw the Cats play in January and left impressed with the way coach Cal handled his team and spreading the ball around.

That’s one thing that I’m proud of in our room there is not a lot of selfishness. We’ve had a lot of talented guys. I think today fourteen different players had a catch. That’s what we want to do. Want to be able to spread the ball, want to have a lot of depth.

I’m so very confused at this article. It’s filed as basketball, but is clearly about football. Add in the fact that the quote says literally nothing about Cal or basketball in general, and I’m just truly puzzled.
