Big Blue Nation shines the spotlight on every player, yet few people know how good Matthews can be for the No. 2 Wildcats this season. The 6-foot-6 product from Chicago was once a top-20 prospect but slid down recruiting rankings as injuries hampered his high school career. Matthews has the potential to be a lockdown perimeter defender.
