We still have a month until the draft order is decided with the NBA Draft Lottery on May 17th, but that doesn’t mean you can’t speculate. For the second consecutive day an NBA Mock Draft puts Tyler Ulis in a Chicago Bulls uniform at #14 overall. Yesterday it was Chad Ford, today it’s Gary Parrish of CBS Sports. Here’s what he had to say about the Point God:
The Bulls need to start preparing for Life After Derrick Rose, which makes taking a point guard in the lottery sensible. And I’ve come around on Ulis. Yes, he’s small. And that’s not ideal. But I no longer struggle to see him becoming a starting point in the NBA because he’s so exceptional at lots of the things that tend to matter.
Parrish put Skal Labissiere at #11 to the Orlando Magic and Jamal Murray #3 to the Celtics. As the June 23rd draft date draws nearer, Murray as the third to go after Ben Simmons and Brandon Ingram will become more common than not.
