For anyone who thought the UK-UL basketball rivalry was on the brink of extinction, Calipari has a few words for you…
After Louisville Men’s Basketball head coach Chris Mack took to Twitter on Tuesday night to backhandedly state that he wants “what’s most convenient for John [Calipari] and his program”, his in-state coaching counterpart was quick to the counterpunch. John Calipari didn’t waste long responding, tweeting out that he will “See you December 26th. Can’t wait!”

Mack initially stoked the controversy after recently hopping on a podcast to express his disappointment in the upcoming Kentucky-Louisville matchup potentially being played without fans, questioning the fate of the game entirely. Calipari didn’t take long responding to that, either, stating that Kentucky is “prepared to come to Louisville to play this season”. Mack took the beef to another level with his thoughts from Tuesday night and we all knew Swaggy Cal would have some words for it.
See you December 26th, coach Mack.
