Calipari Provides an Update on Mychal Mulder

Kentucky senior swingman Mychal Mulder disappeared from the lineup ahead of Saturday’s game against South Carolina due to an illness.  Many expected flu-like symptoms, and believed he would be good-to-go after a few days.  It’s much worse than we expected.

After meeting with Mulder today, Calipari said on tonight’s call-in show he doesn’t expect Mulder to return to the court for at least ten more days.  That estimate puts Mulder back on the court in time to play Florida on February 4.

Get well soon, Mychal.

Sounds like he could have something like mono; my son had it and was weak, sick, and hd a bad rash for a long time. Not fun.

Get well soon, Mychal – and don’t give whatever you have to anybody else on the team…

Flu can last up to two weeks, so that fits. About 50% can return to normal activities after mono in 2 weeks; but fatigue can last for many more weeks, even months.
