Calipari on radio: “”We’re going to platoon until the end of the year if we can”
Coach Cal is on the radio right now with Tom Leach and he just took two questions from one of our favorite callers, Madison. Madison wanted to know if the plan is to stick with the platoon and Cal told him nothing’s changed so far. All 10 guys will continue to see equal playing time.
“We’re going to platoon until the end of the year if we can,” Cal said.
He did add that foul trouble and injuries may force adjustments, but they will continue to platoon if everyone is playing well. I guess that leaves the option to abandon it if six or seven guys separate themselves from the pack.
Still, “we’re going to platoon until the end of the year if we can.”

my vision is that 10 players see almost equal time. and perhaps 11 & 12 see moderate time. that being the case , its lights out , write it down, end of story. GO CATS !!!
Yea I think calipari was worried at first not knowing if it’ll have the effect that it has on the other teams. Its worked wonders in every way so why changed it.
