If Maryland does crab cakes and football, Buffalo does jumping through tables. Last night we learned that tradition is not exclusively reserved for the Bills.
Following the Bulls’ 89-68 victory over Arizona in the First Round of the NCAA Tournament, Buffalo student Kyle Hughes celebrated the upset by launching his body through a foldable table.

Hughes’ name is worth mentioning, because he’s transformed into quite the celebratory over the last three weeks.
During a halftime contest on Senior Night, Hughes knocked down a half court shot. The shot is not what made him famous. He became a viral sensation for his celebration, one that was a little over the top considering the prize: 12 medium pizzas. He was featured on Scott Van Pelt’s show and was even invited onto SportsCenter for a three-minute interview.
The publicity helped Hughes parlay the pizza deal into 12 large pizzas and wings per month for the next year.
Kentucky’s Hayden Hooper stole the show last night, but he might have some competition tomorrow night in Boise.
