BTI’s Rants and Ramblings: Missing Texas A&M? Relive This Aggie Classic

It’s hard to remember all of the classic games and moments of the John Calipari era, with more NCAA Tournament memories in the last decade than the previous two decades combined. But one game that rarely gets brought up that I think ranks right up there as one of the best games since Cal arrived was the 2016 SEC Championship between UK and Texas A&M. The Aggies were rolling at this time and had beaten the Cats in a classic there during the regular season. But the tournament matchup exceeded even that one.
For a UK fan, you had it all. Jamal Murray and Derek Willis knocking down big shots. Tyler Ulis playing like the best point guard in the nation. Great moments and of course, the win.
So while we won’t get the pleasure of a UK-A&M meeting this season, let’s take a moment and remember an all-time clash just a few seasons ago.

Ulis was incredible that game.
They postponed the game. Right? Do you know something the rest of us don’t BTI? Come on spill it.
