John Calipari’s run of impressive special guests on “Coffee With Cal” is set to continue next week.

After hosting Keith VanHorn, Sam Cassell, Kerry Kittles, and Sherman Douglas – all former New Jersey Nets under Calipari – last week, along with the likes of Mark Cuban, Bill Clinton, Charles Barkley, and Larry Fitzgerald in previous weeks, Boston Celtics head coach Brad Stevens is set to join Coach Cal in episode six of the series next week.

Stevens, the current coach of the Celtics and a native of Indiana, will join Calipari on Monday, May 18th at 10:30 AM ET in partnership with CustMbite.

Coffee with Cal, which is an extension of the John Calipari Basketball Fantasy Experience, supports No Kid Hungry, World Central Kitchen, Blessings in a Backpack, Feeding America, and other child-focused COVID-19 relief initiatives. The show, managed by ProCamps and produced by ESPN, features positive messaging and conversation with high-profile guests from the worlds of sports, leadership, business, and entertainment.

In addition to a $1 million donation to the Calipari Foundation, CustMbite will be making a donation of $10 for every nightguard or smile kit online purchase throughout the “Coffee with Cal” series.

Next week’s episode will stream live on the John Calipari Basketball Fantasy Experience Facebook page at Facebook.com/JohnCalipariFantasyExperience.

I read the first part of that headline and thought this was some bombshell news about him joining the staff out of nowhere and I’d missed earlier news about someone leaving or something.

Maybe Stevens can show/tell Cal how to draw up an offensive set during their call

Maybe he could also teach Cal how to lose the locker room and have his best players be unhappy and leave.
