Brad Calipari impresses yet again in overseas basketball trip

Kentucky guard Brad Calipari is overseas for the second summer in a row working on his game with Global Sports Academy.

They began play on Friday to start their eight-day tour through Belgium, Germany and Holland. In his first game, Brad finished with a double-double of 17 points and 11 assists in a victory for GSA.

Today, John Calipari released another update on his son, saying he scored 14 points and eight assists on 4 of 5 shooting from three.

Last season in Croatia, Calipari averaged 14.3 points, 6.5 assists and 3.3 rebounds per contest during the four-game tour.

Calipari is joined by nine other college athletes for Global Sports Academy on the European tour coached by Bucknell assistant coach Joe Meehan.

According to the official release, Calipari and his teammates will also be able to attend cultural events and see historical sites throughout the three countries.

Best of luck to Brad the rest of the way!
