The transfer news that everyone has really been waiting on is here. Brad Calipari has announced via Twitter that he is down to two schools in regards to his transfer from the University of Kentucky.

The head coach’s son is down to Detroit Mercy and Hampton. Calipari also visited the University of Hartford and Bryant University.

The former Wildcat announced his intentions to transfer back in late May and it appears he is now coming close to a decision.

I like the name Detroit Mercy more than I do Hampton, so I’m rooting for them to land Calipari. Good luck to Brad wherever he decides to commit!

Because it is an update on the ongoing transfer of a current Kentucky player, that also happens to be our coach’s son. Hope this helps!

Gotta be Detroit right? Don’t think you could pick two schools in more of the hood than these. Will be quite a contrast to sleepy ol Lexington.

Surely he’s “committing” as a walk on?
