Bracketology Update No. 4,506,223,010

KSR-1251

We haven’t looked at a new Bracketology today, so let’s do that, shall we?

In this edition of the never-ending NCAA tournament projections, CBS Sports has Kentucky as a No. 3 seed playing in the South Region. (That’s Memphis.)

In this scenario, UCLA is the No. 2 seed and North Carolina is the No. 1, and I would rather Pete Rose slide naked on broken glass than Kentucky have to beat those two teams to reach the Final Four.

For something a little easier on the confidence, USA Today has Kentucky as a No. 2 seed in the West. (That’s San Jose.)

Oregon is the No. 1 and Duke the No. 3 in that projection.

At some point we all just need to accept that the NCAA tournament is no longer about exposing the best team in the field. Now it’s about which match-ups give the best ratings and ROI to the sponsors and schools.

It doesn’t matter. The committee won’t ask Joe for his input. Not sure how he has spun this into a year round job

That South region sucks…just don’t get UCLA in the South.
But, I’ll take that West Region all day.

That 2nd rd game scares me more than a potential Duke matchup. Maryland and Syracuse could be a team to beat us

Cats will be in whichever bracket Lo-i-vole is in for potential sweet 16 showdown…When it’s not about the money…it’s about the money..
