Thought, Kneel after the anthem and you won’t have distractions. Need to find scoring, coaching, and defense. Rip Ben.

Hey I have an idea – kneel again and leave school. You’re here to play ball in case no one explained that. If we want to be preached to we will watch Morning Joe.

Makeitstop, these boys can do what they want. This is America. Itotslly support them in kneeling to protest that sedition in D.C. Any patriot would.

First time in the history of our country that a Conderate flag has been inside that hollowed ground.

      Go Cats!

Sedition, right but I guess all the looting burning killing and violence in America cities doesn’t count putting Americans out of business tearing down statues including Lincoln and federal were also destroyed what a snow flake. The last administration started dividing the country and the frustration is starting to show but this site should be nothing but sports and Matt needs to keep it that way

JP – they can do what they want on their own dime, and their own time; not ours. When you show up for work and they say ‘wear the orange vest,” you wear the orange vest. They say “dress like chucky cheez today and sing for the kids” you dress like Chucky and sing for the kids. That’s your job. You have a boss, and you have customers. That’s life. You want to BE a boss, start a company, invest, take the risk, you’re the boss. You want to be an NBA star – play like one, you don’t get to pretend. Earn it, get drafted, then you can do whatever stupid stuff your fans and your team will tolerate. Until then, you’re a kid on a free ride, with free healthcare, housing, trainers, at least part of a college degree, and you do what the coach says, and try to play for the people who are paying for all that. Welcome to life: earned, not given.

Well the boss was fine with it, so they kneeled.

You are the one getting worked up enough about it that you have to post about it on every thread.

You are doing that because it offends you. These boys are being way more patriotic than anyone telling them to do their job. Majority of those trump supporters involved in the BS are losing theirs as they should.

JP, just to follow your rationale, kneeling during the national anthem is “way more patriotic” than standing? Try that at the next football game in the stands and see how that goes, maybe people will agree… maybe they won’t. And if Cal is the boss, why do they talk back? Why don’t they follow instruction? Why would a guy making almost $10m/ a year instruct a team to do something that most of the state finds disgraceful? Maybe you’re right, and Cal instructed them to do it, but I want to hear him say he told them to, and then I’ll believe it. Might put his paycheck at risk, though, so I doubt that’ll happen.

Makeitstop, I guess you do not follow the team.

Cal did NOT tell them to kneel. The guys came together and asked Cal about it. He asked why, and they explained in response to the stuff that occured in Washington.

I am sorry that you get offended because some kids protest a treasonous riot at our capital….as every American should.

A lot in this state need to educate themselves if they find a protest to an act of sedition, not patriotic.

    1. Our guards are truly terrible at staying infront of their man…or they just think the bigs will take care of them.

    2. Still look lost in the halfcourt.

    3. Sarr just can’t post up. On top of his offensive issues, he isn’t rebounding either.

    4. Boston is literally getting forced to play. He is still making dumb mistakes and struggles to actually look competent in the halfcourt.

    5. What happened to Ware’s playing time? He brought energy and grit.

Anyone know the reason Ware went from starting to not playing tonight?

I’m afraid it has something to do with Coach Wooden saying you should only play 6 players… about 40 years ago. Of course, Cal’s best record came when he played 10-11 in a platoon, and had the best team of the past 100 years instead of, well, you know.

Cal could of been a trendsetter here. The kids asked him to kneel with them and he did. He should have said you want to unite people unity doesn’t mean drawing negative attention and pissing people off. Stand for the anthem and put your hand on your heart. Then you can link arms and kneel. It’s not the confederate flag. Just win.

He could’ve been an adult, but he wasn’t. He could’ve spared them the grief and parented but he didn’t. He could have represented the state and the fans who pay him, very, very, well, but he didn’t.
