Bleacher Report breaks down the UK/UNC alumni game

The UK/UNC Alumni Game was announced last week and has proved to be a fun source of speculation. Which NBA players will participate? Who will start? Will Michael Jordan attend? What about Roy Williams, will he cry into his peach milkshake?

The Bleacher Report’s CJ Moore got in on the fun yesterday with these projected starting lineups:

  • PG: John Wall
  • SG: Eric Bledsoe
  • SF: Brandon Knight
  • PF: Anthony Davis
  • C: DeMarcus Cousins

North Carolina

  • PG: Ty Lawson
  • SG: Danny Green
  • SF: Harrison Barnes
  • PF: Tyler Hansbrough
  • C: John Henson

Check out Moore’s reasoning over at Bleacher Report. You can argue a million ways over who starts for the UK, but either way you mix up the lineups, they¬†will kill UNC.

In all seriousness. Of all graduates since 2010. Make up 3 UK teams, and it would still be dominantly better than Unc alum since 2010. To make fair they should let Vince carter and Jordan play. They would have a better shot.

I can’t wait to see all these guys play together. Talk about a recruiting advantage!

Wait, are all these guys confirmed as participants in the game? That UK starting five would crush every single NBA starting five.

Ready to hear more Cats all-in for this game.

This could be a terrific environment.
