BJ Boston’s left hand is in a cast on the first day of class

Kentucky freshman guard BJ Boston is sporting a cast on his left hand on his first day of class.

Walking alongside the likes of Lance Ware, Cam’Ron Fletcher, Jacob Toppin, and Kentucky football defensive back Joel Williams on their way to class, Boston is shown with a full hard cast tucked into his sweatshirt.

Williams posted the video to his Instagram story, with Ware also reposting the clip.

Take a look:

No word on what caused the injury or the severity, but let’s hope it’s not something that will keep the five-star freshman out too long.

—————–UPDATE—————–

Sources tell KSR that the injury is not considered serious and is not expected to be a long-term issue.

“[He’s] good, nothing major,” an individual familiar with the situation told KSR.

Kyle Tucker of The Athletic also added that the injury took place back at home during the team’s one-week break from campus back in July.

      HIPAA.

This kind of thing just comes out on social media nowadays.

I want to say we had someone in a temp cast before the season last year, too, and people were freaking out.

Switch hands every now and then, BJ, or you will not only have a sprain but you will only have hair growing on the palm of that one hand. 🙂

I can’t believe you said that, RCF; he was only following the guidelines of the University of Georgia.

The injury bug which has hurt the past few years is starting already. Fortunately they won’t be playing until January so Cal won’t have to rely on his academic-walk on’s to save the day!
