Behind the scenes of the ice bucket challenge

I had a rough postgame assignment today: film and take pictures of the team doing the Ice Bucket Challenge. Yesterday, Eric Bledsoe challenged John Calipari to get a bucket of ice water dumped on him in the name of raising money for ALS, and today, he accepted, making the team join in on the fun. He also issued a challenge of his own, to the 2012 National Championship squad.

Enjoy the behind-the-scenes video above, and our pictures below.

Sadly, Jerry Tipton did not accept the staff’s ice bucket challenge because he didn’t want to get his iPad wet.

Our coaching staff needs to hit the Gym. They are all carrying a bit too much body fat. They truly have no excuse. Their office is next to the best gym in the state.

I feel terrible for those coaches and players. They threw ice cold water themselves. If only they were on a tropical beach where they could run into the warm ocean.

The way Wille and Trey both took off running in that deep sand. Ummm….They don’t look hurt to me!

Already been made public by Willie he will begin basketball practice when he returns to Lexington. They are just being cautious right now.

    Corn is a great thing.

    On women.

    When they ‘wear it’.

    Not so good on us.

Cant remember if it was a post on here or if it was on the radio show, but Matt stated that there was no ice on the Island. He said that getting a cold diet coke was impossible. HMMM
