Auburn’s Austin Wiley will not play vs. UK


Auburn will not have its top post player against Kentucky.

Austin Wiley has been sidelined by a lower leg injury.  The Auburn center averages 11.8 points and leads the team with 6.1 rebounds per game.

Without the seven-foot center, Auburn’s tallest post player is 6’9; music to Reid Travis’ ears.  A team that relies heavily on the three-point shot will lean on perimeter scoring even more without Wiley in the paint.

    Most knowledgeable observers think Auburn is better with him on the bench anyway
